We had a great book day!
The children were reading all around the school!
Another HUGE thank you to the Friends of Westfield who made and sold the Wonka bars to the children. Their hard work is really appreciated by us all.
The Reception classes had eggs delivered so the children can learn the life cycle of a chicken. The eggs hatched and all developed into lovely fluffy chicks. The children thoroughly enjoyed watching them grow, and being able to hold them and feel their soft feathers. The chicks have all been rehomed together.
We hope that you have a lovely Christmas holiday. Children return for the Spring Term on January 7th.
The Woking Lions Club have kindly donated funds to the School to enable us to purchase some SEN resources. We would like to thank them for their generosity.
Fun and games at the open evening.
The school will be open to all pupils from tomorrow. Please see the email that has been sent.
Thank you very much for all the harvest donations that were sent in. The South Woking Foodbank has collected them all and wished to pass on their sincere thanks too.
Please ensure that you order your school photos online by midday 5th November.
If you order after this time you will have to pay postage costs.
For Diversity Week, Years 1–6 focused on a particular musician/s. This was a huge success, and I think every parent was so proud of their children’s artwork!
The winner of the Summer term Wellbeing Wednesday den building competition was Liberty in Penguins Class.
Here is a photo of the brilliant bed den she built at home during the summer holidays. Liberty described how inside the den they had "lots of pillows and squish mallow toys which are like big, soft pillows". They all "relaxed and read comic books" and they "had torches, so that it looked green from the curtains and blankets around them".
